About Us

Wah Kin Holdings Limited was founded in September 2010, aiming to popularize traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) by integrating it with modern science. We currently work on two main aspects, hair-drug test and Chinese medicine testing.

The hair-drug test, patented by Wah Kin, is a novel drug testing technology way more reliable and efficient than the traditional methodology. By providing a low-cost drug detecting service, we aim to combat the increasing number of drug abuses in Hong Kong. We also hope to apply our technology to personal medical profiling due to the growing concern about harmful chemicals in food.

Owing to the lack of standardization of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong, the Testing Laboratory for Chinese Medicine (TLCM) has been established in 2012 by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Testing, quality control and certification of Chinese Materia Medica (CMM) have been carrying out in TLCM in order to establish a standardization and certification system of CMM in Hong Kong.

We are dedicated to deterring dug abuses and developing a complete CMM in Hong Kong through our continuous efforts on drug testing and Chinese medicine standardization. In the long term, we hope to promote TCM to the world.
